A Rooftop in Brooklyn

It is warm. At last. But when I say warm, I mean HAWT.
I am worshipping at the alter of the air conditioner and only moving to open the fridge or the door for food. It\'s wonderful.
I have left the house a couple of times recently. Behold, photos from my exciting adventures...
We went to the sweat lodge that is the Cake Shop for PopFest a couple of months ago to catch my friends, The Pains of Being Pure at Heart. They were awesome, I was drunk, they might not be my my friends anymore. It\'ll be fiiiiine. Buy their album.
The next shot is from a rooftop in Brooklyn on the 4th of July, it was awesome. And not hot. Hurrah!
This is a dog wearing goggles and a hat. That is all.
This is 24 chicken wings. Those wings were consumed by a single man. Swoon.

Lidnsey I discovered your book I heart New York in my mum\'s magazine and I read it and wow I went to the shops the next day to find your other books I now have them all leading up to I heart Vegas and I am just dazed by your skill as a writer. I have relised as I have read your books that my dream is to go to New York your my idol.... I can now say I have read the whole I heart... series to date. Can not wait for I Heart London - If you\'re still writing/editing - try and pop down to Ed\'s in Queens Park, they serve THE best breakfast north west of the river! (fantastic hangover cure also)I heart Vegas is definately my favourtie, along with The Single Girl\'s to-do-list, if you haven\'t read it yet then do so now!!
All my girlfriends are so sick of me banging on about Angela and her adventures (along with Lindsey Kelk\'s writing skills) they have all bought the books and are now addicts themselves. I guess it makes a change from me going on about this seasons Marc Jacobs and the Selfridges sale!!!
